At Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) we take sustainability seriously.  Founded in 2002, BGI infuses environmental and social responsibility into its entire curriculum. BGI offers an MBA in Sustainable Business as well as several related certificate programs.

BGI is currently conducting an institutional analysis of our CO2 footprint in order to achieve our goal of carbon neutrality as quickly as possible.  This effort is being led by a group of first year MBA students.  

Phase I, which will be completed this December, includes a review of methods, opportunities for immediately actionable items to reduce CO2 and a high-level plan for the year long effort.  Phase II, to be completed by March ‘07, is to conduct the actual CO2 inventory.  Phase III, to be completed by June ’07, will include targets, action plans and a timeline to achieve climate neutrality.  

All 100+ students at BGI are involved in real life projects to bring sustainability and leadership to business and non-profit organizations.
