On April 22, 2004, President Anderson of Pacific Lutheran University signed onto the Talloires Declaration, joining more than 300 universities around the world in dedication to environmental sustainability in higher education.  PLU’s commitment to sustainability on campus involves staff, faculty and students making strides in water conservation, green building, educational events, recycling, and a sustainable foods movement.
